The Dragons from Game of Thrones
Game of Thrones, the highly graphic TV series of medieval betrayal, political intrigue, monsters (both the human and freaky kind) and world building was must watch television for much of the decade.
The hit show was based on the Song of Ice and Fire series of books by Author George R.R Martin (which is still incomplete btw).
One of the key elements to the success of Game of Thrones was main character Daenerys Stormborn, who went from naĂ¯ve girl and political pawn to become a fearsome superpower.
Daenerys was aided in conquest by three dragons she hatched from eggs early in the series.
The three dragons – called Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion – were a fire breathing, world wrecking and captivating part of the show.
There are many tattoos of the three of them together, in flight but when the dragons are depicted in tattoos solo (or with Daenerys) then it’s usually just the largest dragon Drogon – named after her husband – which is represented in ink.

The tattoos that we come across these days have a major influence on them from the traditional Hawaiian tattoo art also known as the “kakau”. We are here to give you an overview on the designs which remarkably stand out for the female composure. What are Hawaiian Tattoos? The Polynesian people respected and took the artform with great value and imparted a specific secrecy to it too. The tattoo art displayed the power and strata of an individual in the society. It is one of the most popular tattoo arts from the Pacific. It was done using bones, bird beaks, or sharp objects and the procedure was supposed to be extremely painful. The warriors of war land got these tattoos to show their courage and valiance. Mostly these tattoos were done by the male members of the society but even females indulged in a few tattoos. These tattoos carried a deep culturally attached meaning and mostly represented the forms of the nature like plants, flowers, animals and birds. ...
The key design almost probably implies a secret. The mystery is heightened when it is shown without a lock, leaving the question of “what does the key unlock?” If a lock is used to represent the key, the picture may represent confidence in oneself and faith in one’s talents or reliance on another, frequently with a lock tattoo. A couple’s or friend’s tattoo includes a key, which depends on the lock picture to finish the shared design. The key is a symbol for truth or an answer, and whether a lock or keyhole is present or not might signify the applicability of that truth. A key is a common design idea that may be altered into several designs to produce a special and individual tattoo. More information regarding the context of the image’s meaning will be revealed by the type of key shown. An old iron key with detailed carvings or motifs may allude to a long-held truth or secret, possibly something that has been handed down via tradition. This kind of key could represent a trag...
Most imagine manta ray tattoos as well as other aquatic artwork as being simply a personal preference. People like sea creatures, so they allow them to be tattooed on their skin, essentially. Though this may be the case for some, both ancient and contemporary cultures view sea life as representing everything that the human spirit possesses. The manta ray directly depicts cultural beliefs, especially Polynesian. Polynesians believe that the manta ray symbolizes spirituality and their guardians. Believed to patrol the waters in a way that protects those on Earth, manta rays are a sign of power and ancient wisdom. Modern day Hawaiians believe that these creatures leap out of the water in order to fill the air with their experience in the sea and pass on knowledge that those above do not know yet. For others, manta rays create a connection to human emotions in a very profound manner. These animals are known to move slowly and gracefully. Because of these mannerisms, ...
